Directions
PUMBC provides a nurturing environment for biblically based spiritual growth of the body, to make disciples, spiritually equipped to take God’s message of salvation to the world.”
PUMBC provides a caring and loving place of worship, where spiritual expressions can be developed through Christian education, ministries, and fellowship, in order to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and to make disciples of the global community.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH and YOUTH CHURCH
Children’s Church – Ages 3 to 12
We think our Children’s Church is amazing! Our hope is that when you ask your child if they had fun in church, they will answer with a resounding, “YES!”
Children are released to Children’s Church during the Announcements. Of course, we get it if you’d like to keep them with you in the adult service until you’re more comfortable.
Youth Church – Ages 13 to 18 – Every 3rd Sunday
We understand that a Youth Church is vital to helping teens integrate into the larger intergenerational community of the church. Our Youth Church resists the status quo, helping a church stay relevant in a changing culture. Our teens are not marginalized members of the body, but are co-creators in the divine work of the church, restoring life on earth as it is in heaven. We are currently renovating our Prayer and Worship Chapel into a dedicated, up-to-date Youth Facility.
FAQs
Come as you are. Some love wearing a suit and tie, others prefer casual. Your clothes will never determine whether you’re welcome.
We aim to teach the God’s Word in a way that is engaging, understandable and applicable. The message will be based on the Bible, and we often include interesting anecdotes, or the latest news stories. We strive to have our attendees passionately engage in worship experiences. To achieve this we utilize a mix of live music, dance and media.
Music and singing is just one of the many ways that we worship. At Progressive Union, we are led by a team of musicians and vocalists. We sing contemporary Gospel, historic hymns and current worship songs. Learn More >>
As a guest, please do not feel obligated to give. The Bible explains that giving is an act of worship, through which those who have a personal relationship with Jesus give regularly and generously to response to God’s gifts. If you consider Progressive Union your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider giving. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can set-up an online giving account.
Yes, we do have free Wi-Fi! You can access your online Bible during worship!
What is your fear about not being accepted? You fill in the blank. Divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. It doesn’t matter. Everyone is welcome at Progressive Union. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
